Remember the times when you were a kid, and everyone had to tell you what to do? Then you grew up and you told everyone off for telling you what to do? As I grow further, I find myself actually wanting people to tell me what to do again (in certain situations, otherwise I generally dislike people who tell me what to do when it's actually none of their business whatsoever). Tell me the right decisions to make, ~~which seat can I take~~. But then again, I know that important decisions like this one can only be made by myself solely.

I remembered when my neighbour's Min Pin gave birth to four healthy puppies, with our dog as the father (honestly, it was a rape). Every day I tiptoed to take a peek at those puppies, awaiting the day my neighbour would pass us one of those adorable furballs. After a few months, my neighbour passed us a black little mass of fur over the wall. I decided to name him Oreo.

We kept you in Happy's cage in the house, out of fear that that Blackie might attack you and you were yet too little to stay in the compound. You kept whining and you couldn't sleep, because you've wet your own sheet of newspaper and dad has to keep changing the sheets. You finally slept after we left you for a while by yourself, but it took many days for you to not whine whenever someone walks into the kitchen and leaves you all alone again. Sometimes, I'd take you out of your cage so that you can run around in the house a little but you'd often repay me by pooping on the floor. For a cute little thing like you, I didn't mind.

Soon, your nose became pointy and you grew to look more like your mother. I vaguely remember bringing you to the vet when you starting 'balding', and you had your first vaccination. Dr. Sarah said you had the temperament of a Min Pin because you became cranky when she gave you your jab. You were then 'upgraded' to live in the compound and promoted to be one of our watchdogs. Dad spoke of you often, of how you eat faster than Happy, and you eat almost everything (including your own poop). Sometimes in the afternoon, I'd catch you eating dried leaves. Beats me.

I felt bad because you had no friends nor toys to play with, so I gave you an old slipper of mine. When I pushed the clothes hanger stand and your slipper got in the way, you'd pull your slipper away and that really impressed mom and I. In the evenings when I played floorball in the compound, you got really excited and you couldn't stop barking at me so I gave you my Cr8er ball. It's still in the corner where I left it.

Then one day, I saw you vomiting but I didn't think much about it. Dad told me you even had diarrhoea. He should have brought you to the vet that very evening, but he didn't. You went to the vet's the next morning, and apparently the doctor gave you a jab and some medication. I saw you standing at your usual spot in the afternoon, with your head down as though you were emo-ing. But I thought you were going to be alright. Looking back now, I wonder if you knew your time was up then. I then saw you lying down, "Sleeping." I thought to myself. It was not until the evening that I went out of the house, and I saw you lying there like you did previously, but with your eyes and mouth open. There was a certain emptiness in your eyes, and you were lying there motionless, with your chest still. Stone cold. It came as a shock, but I knew you were gone. You were barely one.

I'd never thought that you'd be gone so soon. I envisioned you with us, for a lot of years to come. Now when I sit on the couch in the hall and I look out the door, I'll never see your black figure lying there anymore. I no longer get to hear you playing with your bowl and call you a 'silly boy' when you eat the dried leaves again.

You deserve a better fate in your next life, Oreo.

I'm actually home alone now as I type and I'm trying to convince myself that spending new year's eve alone isn't all that bad. Yes, here's when you insert the [FOREVER ALONE] image from 9gag.

While waiting for my black pepper sausages to defrost, I thought I'd contribute my very last post in 2011. :)

Back in 2009, I posted about the nine things I did in 2009
2010 came and went, and I shared 2010's best moments with all of you.

Honestly, I didn't know what to do for 2011 but since it was my SPM examination year, I've had my own share of stressful and joyous moments so this year's post shall be done in two parts:

BAHAGIAN A

50 markah

This section is about expressing my heartfelt gratitude towards the people who have helped me gone through the year, and kept me sane all the while when I was about to lose it. These people gave the year 2011 a reason to be remembered, and inspired me to introduce this section. :)

ONE - The ever dedicated and caring teachers of SMK Convent Green Lane and all of my tuition teachers.

Honestly, my school teachers never gave up on all of us even though we were at the verge of doing so. They kept pushing and reminding us of the standard we have to live up to, and let me tell you this: It is not easy to keep faith with our somewhat lackadaisical attitude during the beginning of the year. It may have been tiring for us, but even more so for them. If not for their persistent pushing, I wouldn't have been able to push through and emerge alive during those stressful periods. :)

During our last day in Pn. Oh's tuition. Love this woman to bits! Best and nicest BM teacher I've ever had, along with Pn. Ivy. :)

TWO - Friends

My classmates' kiasu-ness motivated me to study, but don't tell them I told you that. :P It always feels good to know that you are not alone, and my friends reminded me that I was not alone on that race. All those trips to the library after school were also much more bearable with them around.

People like Ivy, Sarah, Kuen May, Shu Ni, Joanne, Wendy, and Zoe for entertaining me, laughing at my lame jokes and always reminding me that I'm loved. But not just them, in fact everyone around me has been of great company this year and I am equally thankful for all of you. :)

THREE - Teammates.

Floorball and volleyball are both team sports, which means we win and lose together. I've faced a lot of heart wrenching losts and near misses this year, some of which were my last. I've trained with them, won/lost (depends on your POV) with them, cried with them, got back up again with them, and basically, learned lessons and had TRUCKLOADS of fun with them! These people truly enriched my life and made me fall deeper in love with the sport I partook in.

I owe it to the coaches as well, who has taught us so much and despite letting them down so many times, they continued believing in us and that belief itself is enough to fuel the whole team to believe with them.

For all the love they shower me with which can be seen by the little things they do, the sacrifices they've made, and how they always want the best for and from me. I honestly don't know what I'd do without them, even though sometimes they drive me up the wall. But all fair, since it's a mutual thing. :P

My two elder sisters, Junnie and Janice.

Junnie, for driving me up to wall too and testing my patience. Despite the huge age gap and love hate relationship I have with her, I know too that she wants me to be the best that I can be.

Janice, for all the times she laughed at my lame jokes and made even lamer ones. And yet I still laugh at them. Beats me.
She's the elder sister who keeps me on track. She knows what to say and how to say it, because she knows how my mind works. Even though she says things I've already heard, but every time she says it I would think twice about her rationale. Also the house elf who cleans up after my mess (despite her constant nagging to get me to clear up mine), and the only one in the family who understands me best.

Happy, my little brother who also happens to be the prince of the house. What can I say? He charms everyone's heart with his antics and does the silliest things like running into the chair.

Expectations for 2012

SIX - To mature into a better person.

-I need to practice more patience and be less judgmental towards other people.
-I've to start looking at the glass as half full first, and then slowly, look at it as full with half water, half air.
-Grow spiritually, and be more mindful in life.
-Have a little more confidence in myself.
-Be less lazy.

SEVEN - More floorball.

I've got a lot more to learn and unlearn.
e.g: Learn to hold the stick with two hands. Unlearn holding the stick with one hand.

I certainly hope to form greater bonds between my teammates, sharpen my skills, train up my stamina, learn new lessons and hopefully win my first gold medal.

ps: More workout -> hotter body. :DDDDDDDD

EIGHT - Tertiary education.

As much as I try to avoid it, I know that the day when I start tertiary education would finally come and hopefully whatever my decisions I make in the near future will be the right one. Oh and like Ame says, my SPM results. :)

NINE - My first car, first time driving on the road, first paycheck, first room all to myself, etc.

TEN - More people to enter my life and enhance its meaning. And for the people I love to stay as long as possible.

ELEVEN - Greater things to come for both you, the one reading this and I. Period. :)

I've always been one who really appreciates small gestures and the little things in life. I like how something as small as a chocolate bar or a note to remind someone that they are loved and appreciated can go a long way. Sometimes in life, it's not just the big things that count, the little ones do as well. At times, those 'big things' can even cloud your vision and the little things may seem insignificant when put side by side with the bigger ones. But that shouldn't be the case. No matter how small a gesture may be, keep in mind that that individual has given thought to it and to you, so thank them all the same because honestly, who remembers about little things in the hustle and bustle of life?

I also believe that gratitude is important. Everyone wants and needs to feel appreciated, and that is what gratitude can do. In fact, gratitude also allows room for positivity in life. You will learn to truly appreciate everything around you, and stop taking things for granted (which is what most of us nowadays tend to do). When you're grateful for everything that your life is blessed with, you'd be contented and you wouldn't feel the want or need for anything else. Now isn't that happiness at its best?

Lost inspiration and motivation to ~~write~~ blog. Reading back my old blogposts somehow wows me, because I used to be able to write about a lot of things back then and now I find myself hopelessly looking for something to write about. I hope this isn't a bad thing. Maybe along the way, I've learnt to filter my thoughts more and... am starting to expose a deeper side of mine. *self assuring*
Either way, I wouldn't mind having my old self back. Well, maybe only the fun part. :)

You know how sometimes you ~~stumble~~ did some researching and come across someone's blog and you get to know that person better? Well, sometimes those blogs really amaze me. The blogger, amazes me actually. I hope someday, I'll amaze others too. :)

This would probably be the last time I'm saying "I'm finally back from KL!"
Ever since SPM ended, I've went down to KL thrice. Now that there's no more travelling to do, I don't really know how to spend my holidays wisely.

Then there's the million dollar question to deal with, "What do you want to do after SPM?"

I DON'T KNOWWWWWWWWW.

I've always told myself I want to do something different, something that I'd love yet gives me a decent pay.
Only problem is that that sort of job doesn't exist. And honestly, I don't even know what I love. I despise thinking about tertiary education, it's worse than SPM itself. :(

Every single year, I've got it all figured out. What I'd do every year was fixed, I'd be buying new stationeries and complaining about how I don't want to go back to school. Right now, I wish I could do the same. I wish I'd know where to go and what to do, and stop being so sesat like a lost little lamb. Baaaa.
Why does transition have to be so difficult?

Went down to KL twice for the past two weekends for Selangor League. Team Penang got silver placing.

I didn't play my best, I tried and wanted to but I just don't know why it didn't come. It couldn't.
It's the suckiest feeling ever when you know that you've deteriorated.
From running behind the goalcage with utter confidence and scoring a goal or two to not scoring any at all even though you're a forward.
Lost count of the number of times the coaches shouted "TWO HANDS, TWO HANDS ON THE STICK!" and my miserably failed attempts at shooting. Or even tapping the ball in.

But the worst part would be assessing myself because I don't know how to get back on the right track. A little lost, a little confused, and most definitely unconfident. It has been long since I felt that surge of euphoria whenever I see the ball come into contact with the net. I long and ache for that feeling again.

PMS-ing nowadays.

Yes, my blog is dead. And yes, I'm here to revive it before it goes into hibernation again.

Sat for Physics Paper I this morning and it was a "tragic end to trials", as some of my friends put it. I'm with them, because despite Arun's 'pop quiz' every week (hence the apostrophe), I just don't think like a Physics student. :/

All the major organs in my body have been working really hard. The liver, for staying up so late. The brain, for all the last minute cramming. The heart, when Ms. Chow tells me there's only 10 minutes left. And also from all the caffiene which turns me into a nervous wreck.

Nevertheless, am definitely looking forward to a nice break over the weekend before I keep the momentum going next week. I suppose my friends and I would be hanging out in the library more than Gurney now.

I'm getting my leaving cert next week. Which means... I have a month plus left to spend in my second home, with the people who share my craziness.

I've always felt a sense of pride to be a part of CGL, though our batch was always deemed to be the worst ever (they teachers have yet to see the juniors).
I've always been proud of the school, proud of her achievements, proud of how far she has come to be reaching the big five zero this year, and proud of how many young minds she has nurtured, mine included. Of course, the people in school played a big role as well.
Somehow, the thought of leaving school has not gotten to me yet. Maybe I'm not ready for such a big part of me to be removed just like that.

But I think once I leave, it'll hit me really hard.

Because when I do, I'll miss moments like this in class:

Class: Teacher! Where got?! Really no tips for BM lah!
Me: Yeah lah teacher, we Bersih 3.0 lah!

Ahhh, finally sober up over yesterday's events.

It's too bad I couldn't have led the team to win the gold medal in my last outing in KFSPP, but the team did very well, pushed really hard and we played as a team. Having the opportunity to play with all of them was a great honour, and after much emo-ing/ thinking, I'll have to admit that KFSPP 2011 was a really wonderful experience. Maybe we didn't win this time because there's bigger things in store for us but this time's loss was pretty valuable, and I might have just found the lesson behind it.

I really have my lucky stars to thank for all the wonderfully supportive people who showered me with lots of love and concern, you don't find as many of these kind of people in other sports. They helped pick me up, and made me realise many things I wouldn't have managed to realise in my state of mind yesterday. Truly grateful. :)

Will learn to toughen up more and control my temper on court.

Utterly disappointed and upset with my performance in this year's KFSPP. I really wanted to perform, I really really tried. But it just couldn't/didn't come, I don't know why. I can't even conduct a post mortem about my performance in the matches because I don't even know the reason why. People say it happens. Hmm.
On a side note, I know it may be out of courtesy or maybe they really were being honest but I dislike it when people tell me "You did great." even when I didn't. Because I know what am I truly capable of, and how I played today was just crap to me. Going to cry over it again and move on.

I think what really makes me want to be sweet towards certain people would be the sincere appreciation they show and that "Aww, so sweet." phrase they say after I've done something for them.
It gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling, like drinking a cup of hot coffee on a cold, rainy morning after you've had a sleepless night.
It makes me grin like an idiot after knowing that what I did was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for them and that I've made them feel loved. :)
It's always good to love and feel loved.

ps: Obviously when I'm all caught up with school I can't think up of so many sweet things but trust me, when I'm not occupied... I'm at my peak. ;)

As I type, I'm entering my 200th post! And how else would I mark this special occasion but to dedicate a shoutout to Phaik Chern, who turns 19 today! :D

That one very special person, who had always been there for me ever since 2008.
She has always been someone I turn to for advice, the one who said she cares when I said nobody would if I was down, the one who made me mature a whole lot, the one whom I'd string words that rhyme together for, the one person who is so different and unlike any other, and the one who holds a special place in my heart.

Thank you for everything and I mean literally everything you've done for me. The hurt, tears, joy, laughter, advice, love, care and support. They mean a lot. Happy 19th Birthday. :)

My tendency to feel emo has increased ever since the holidays started. Either school is my source of joy (in a way, I'll admit that it is) or all the late nights are getting to me. :(

Have been slacking a lot lately, everyone seems to be so busy and occupied. I should be, too. But this is the last time I get to laze around and not worry about school that much, so I thought I'd make the best out of it. :/
I'll admit, I've been going out a lot lately and even if I'm stuck bored at home, I think it still beats being all tired and knocked out from school.

But you know how reality works, so yeahhhh. Yesterday I went to bed thinking about all the work I have to do once school reopens and how I cannot afford to not be serious anymore. DAMNED. Such horrible thoughts before going to bed.

Speaking of being serious, I think the busier and more occupied you are, the less humorous you get. That sucks, too. :/

A lot of things suck when you're in upper sec, and I think the only way you can cope with the suckiness of it is by being optimistic. No, really. It's something called the Law of Attraction. Go Google it, if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Have been keeping in touch with my spiritual side a lot lately apart from trying to develop my character, improvising and such into becoming a better person.
Most people who deal with me on a daily basis know I've got a short fuse. I think I'm getting the hang of controlling my temper a whole lot now, and also complaining less. There's always a positive side to everything, and there really is no use of complaining anyway. So yup, sticking to that "Everything happens for a reason." line, believing and trying to find the reason.

I knew all those things all along. What I had to do was just to further understand it and I did, by reading a few chapters of this book titled "How to Live Without Fear & Worry" by K. Sri Dhammananda. I think I've only read until Chapter 3 or so, and look at the change it has brought upon me. :)

I miss floorball and volleyball a whole lot. I miss a lot of people too. But it seems that I'm doing all the missing and no one misses me. That sucks.

The moments when we...
- cycled to and fro Hamid Khan and Shi Jia's house
- sang "Friday" by Rebecca Black, Do It Like A Dude and other songs
- were scoping hot guys especially when they were spiking
- went for lunch together at the soya bean shop
- had siew mai for breakfast
- fooled around and gossiped
- had chicken rice or pizza at Shi Jia's house
- were stranded in the walkway because it was raining
- strained our neck and challenged each other to Tap Tap
- had to chase after the ball because it went into the drain and was floating away

Trailblazers against SWAT today, and we won the match 3-2. I know my teammates played really well today, and I'm proud of them. But honestly, apart from that, I don't feel anything else. I didn't score any goals today, and I know I didn't play my best. I was just filling in the space of a player. My heart wasn't in the game.

Never have I dwelled on losing a match for so long, and quite frankly, I'm not even sure myself why is this feeling not subsiding. Maybe it's because I just refuse to let it go, even though I know I should.

People keep telling me that we've played our best, and we should be happy that we've at least won third placing. I think it's only fair that those people are put into our shoes, even though I understand that they were just having good intentions. Nothing anyone says is helping.

They say everything happens for a reason, and I do believe it. So what's the reason behind our lost?

Everytime I see my teammates in school, I flashback to our game against Union. 14:13. I was telling them to focus, one more point. One more point, I said. One more point and we'll all beat Union at long last. We lost that one point and Union turned the tables. 14:16.

We played our best, definitely. We played so, so well. Really. And I'm proud of them, too. Proud of the team and proud of myself for fighting so hard. Playing like winners. People say losing doesn't matter. As long as you've given your best, you are a winner. We gave everything. I don't feel anywhere close to a winner.

Throughout the whole fortnight, our coach wasn't even there with us. Stuck at work. During the game, it was all up to us. What to do, where to stand, where to spike, who to watch out for, how to score, how to WIN.
~~Where was our coach when we needed him most?~~ We got so far, without a coach. And that is something we should be proud of.
But now the thought of how different things would be if only our coach was there is haunting me.
We could have even brought home the gold medal.

I guess it wasn't meant to be. Even after all these years.
I should learn to move on.

My very last outing in volleyball MSSPP just ended. Back to school, and stressing out for Mid-Year. Rawr.
CGL won third placing in both peringkat daerah and negeri. ~~Could've~~ Should've won second placing for both levels.
After five long years, and I thought I could tell everyone "We finally beat Union." but no. I'll never get the chance to say that again.

They won the first set 22:25, we won the second by 25:17, and the third set? 14:16. And the best part was that we were just one point away from beating them. One freaking point in the rubber match. Heck, Union's players were so pressured that they cried. Even PCGHS' coach thought that they'd be meeting us in the finals. Meh.
Oh, and PCGHS lost to Union in district level, but pwned them in state levels. Can't help but to keep thinking "That should be us." during finals when PCGHS was playing against Union. EMO.

This would definitely be the one tournament I'll never forget. Mainly because it's our final year, and we had such a great team this year. And yeah, the very fact that we lost to Union by one point. That, I find difficult to accept and forget. So close. THISBLOODYCLOSE. Actually, closer than that.
And don't tell me we've played our best and that's all that matters. Because if you've played your best, then you were supposed to win. The worst form of defeat is to have played your best, fought so hard and was so close to victory, then losing in the end. I wanted to see the Union players cry so badly. Well, boom. I was the one who ended up crying in the end. Pfft.
To all my teammates, thank you for being awesome in your own ways. We may not be the best batch in terms of skills and attitude, but you'll be that one team I'll remember for the rest of my life. Six years' worth of volleyball ever since primary. It definitely wasn't easy, but it was fun. :)

It sucks that after six long years' worth of skill developing, we won't be playing that much volleyball anymore and we'll be deteriorating. It has always been like that, even with the seniors.
But I'll always have a spot for volleyball in my heart, and I hope that this wouldn't be the last time that I'm playing.

Invictus : Unconquerable or invincible [Latin]

Team Invictus made it into the semi-finals, but we lost to MGS. Yes, it was disappointing because we could have and should have won that match. Nevertheless, I won't emo/mourn about it anymore. The most important thing at the end of the day is still about having fun, showing good sportsmanship, learning something and never giving up. All of which all of CGL's floorball teams managed to achieve.

So, does that mean that our job is done?
No, not yet.

The big prize would still be the gold medal in KFSPP, and that's where we've set our eyes, heart and game at. To first placing, and beyond! :)
A big thank you to our coaches who were always, always there to motivate and support us, the teachers Pn. Chiu and Pn. Azizah for being there the whole day with us. For all the people who cheered for us, opposing teams, the referees, people who asked if I was fine. Thank you all, for being you. :)

Volleyball U-18 semi-finals against PCGHS on Monday. 50/50 chance of winning. Hope the others in the team are mentally prepared. Yes, mental strength has always been our weakness.

I'm back! I'm back back back in the blogging world, after a 2 month hiatus. Damned, it's been that long.
School has been busy, obviously. Just finished our first term test, and I'm on a week break now which would be filled with lots of floorball, volleyball and Chemistry (Baskie's 'enlightenment class'). Going to make sure everything's organized and set for the crazier months to come. :/

Anyway, yesterday was the St. John Ambulance Carnival. Spent my entire day with Zoe (which I seldom get to) and all the members. :)
Thing about the St. John Ambulance is that 80% of the participants are mandarin speaking. Yes, it's dominated by Chinese school students. Not that I have anything against them, but sometimes (most of the times, actually) it's so difficult to communicate with them considering the language barrier (most of us can't speak Mandarin and almost all of them don't speak English) and difference in mentality. :(
But apart from that, I know most of them to be nice people anyway. :D

NCO Camp 2010

St. John Ambulance NCO Camp 2010

The first day was horrorrrrr. Everyone had trouble adjusting. It was only the first day and there were 3 more days to go. Discipline was highly stressed upon in this camp, and the officers were strict. We had 6 meals/day, all which we had to eat with our hands quietly. We had to wash our own plates and cups, as expected. You can be showering halfway and there can be no water (like what happened to me). We had to sit for 4 ceramahs/day, which most of us nodded off throughout. And you have to march every evening. Also, on the last day, we will be tested theoretically and practically by marching and giving commands to a squad.

Also, apart from the above, I felt miserable being around all the other participants which were mainly from chinese schools. I'm a half banana, which means I can't really communicate in Mandarin. Somehow, they didn't seem as friendly during the first two days. Doubtlessly, I felt a little emo and I missed being around my usual click of friends.

Fun part was during the night when we had malam suai kenal, malam kebudayaan and malam unggun api where we had games and performances. As usual, the performances were hilarious, though I never liked preparing for them. The rest of the participants were talking more now, though not as much as I expected but it's a change. Nyaha, some Chung Ling guys quite good looking also. :P

Sleeping with babi Zoe was a fun experience. Switched positions damn fast, from top can go to bottom. >:)
Okay in case you were wondering, I was talking about the sleeping bag. We opened mine and both of us slept on it whereas hers was used as our blanket. We pillow talked for a bit, then the pig needed to maximise bedtime to fulfill her minimum sleeping hours. Psshtt. Potong stim. :P
Anywhoo, she really sleeps like a pig lah. I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to pull the blanket away from her, but somehow the blanket was under her. I don't understand either. o.o"
So anyway, I'm only a petite sixteen year old, I can't move mountains (or in this case, pig). I threw my side of the blanket over her, and used the corner of my sleeping bag to cover myself.
In conclusion, whoever sleeps with me is a lucky person lah seriously. Like the night before PBIM, Ivy and I slept on her bed. She elbowed me, hogged the bed and blanket, and I almost fell off it.

To sum it all, my first St. John camp has definitely taught me a lot, and opened up my eyes to a uniform body I've joined since F2 but previously didn't even know much about. I now know the correct commands of marching, that SJAM first started in M'sia in 1908, and that there is a difference between St. John Ambulance Association and St. John Ambulance Brigade, which both merged to form SJAM on the 31st of August, 1972. Et cetera. Bwahahaha. I've learned well. xD

Being in camp really makes you appreciate the daily things you have in life like water, friends, your comfy bed, lots of sleeping hours and eating with fork and spoon. Asked if the camp was worth attending, definite yes. If I were to go again, I would think about it. Heh. :)

Big thank you all the AJKs and officers who were actually nice people, and everyone else who helped me in one way or another (like tying my bun ><). I appreciate it lots.
And to Zoe, if you're ever reading this. Thank you for being my camp buddy and I'm sorry if I wasn't up to expectations. I'm missing you already, and I had a pretty good time with you (because most of the times you were either sleeping, talking about guys or being moody). xD

Tomorrow will the the official day that I haven't updated my blog in two months, like whatthehelll. So long a time that I can't even remember what was I caught up with, but part of it had to do with my laptop crashing and exams. :/
So it is official that my blog is dead, and the saprophytes are happily feeding on them. But I have come to resurrect it. :D

Had our YE Annual Lunch yesterday at TGIF, and what can I say, great food, great company (company can mean two things; Athena Enterprise and the people around me). ;)

After that, we watched The Child's Eye in 3D, first experience of watching a horror movie in 3D. ._.
And as usual, I was freaking out, and hiding behind my bag. Better than Sarah though, who closed her eyes throughout almost the entire movie that she didn't get the storyline. LOL.

Me: What the...?! LMFAO!

It has become a norm for Shu Ni and I to come up with stupid comments while watching a movie, and laughing at ourselves. If you're ever watching a horror movie and you hear laughter in the middle of a scary scene, do holla at us! xD

KFSPP

It's been over a month since my last update. Dx
Was occupied with my Moral folio which I have been procrastinating on and then in late August, I had preparations for UP II. Needless to say, after slacking so much I'm pretty sure I did badly in the test. :/
The much anticipated KFSPP took place in Balik Pulau yesterday and CGL placed third after BJ Bahaya and MGS.

I have a lot to work on, like my shots and especially my stamina. Also have to be more flexible in the court. After dropping badminton, it was like dropping my stamina as well. And I wasn't the type of person who fancied running. :X
Nevertheless, I'm not giving up anytime soon. I'll work my way up. There's always something to learn from every game and I definitely took the opportunity to learn, play and grow as much as I can from KFSPP.

Team CGL, you guys did great. Being the true CGL-ians that we are, we always rise to the occasion and never say die even if the odds are against us. :)
Team BJ Bahaya was well... bahaya. They were really great, the forwards communicated well and their defense was like the great wall of China. They flattened everyone, really. All their opponents had ZERO goals. Congratulations to team BJ! :)

And to my dear babi Zoe who was too lansi and busy focusing to even talk to me (yes, I know it rhymes xD), congrats once again for getting All Star Forward. Your shots were awesome! :D

Before ending my post, I have to say a very big THANK YOU to our coaches, Penny and Edward for being ever so supportive. Pn. Mok who was with us the whole day, guarding our barangan berharga with her life. My dear, dear friends Shu Ni and Yin Hoong who woke up so early in the morning and followed us all the way up the hills, mountains, lakes and sea to Balik Pulau to be the secretariats. Also not forgetting all the other teams, referees and last but not least, the supporters who constantly reminded us to not give up. Thank you so much, all of you. :)

Jess' Sweet Sixteen

Today is Jess' birthday and yesterday was her party at Flamingo Hotel.
We started off the day by getting lunch at some dim sum restaurant on the 7th floor.

The thing about girls is that even though it's another 2 minutes to their movie, they would still have time to go to the loo and vain. xD

So anyway, the movie was pretty good. I'd rate it 3/5. :)

We then made our way to the hotel, ordered Domino's and ate by the beach. After that, we stood by the shore and had the waves splash on us (screaming like mad, when it splashed higher than expected - on our shorts).

The sun set, and we got back to room 607 to clean up. And the odd part is that the people who take a long time to shower went in first, rather than the people who only wanted to change and wash up (people like me). So it was a looooooong wait. More of Jess' friends came over, and things got louder. And when things get louder, you get a phone call - a complain from the next room about us being too noisy. LOL.

While the rest went for makan, the few of us in the room started telling ghost stories. When they came back, we went down to the lobby - The Flamingo Theque to enjoy the live band and the atmosphere.
There's this singer who has a really amazing voice! At first we though she looked a bit like Jess/Julia (her sister).
Anyway, her voice is really great (like Shakira's phlegm-y voice) and she manages to hit the high notes in My Heart Will Go On, Reflection, I'll Always Letc. *is in awe* :3
We then played fussball and pool to Bad Romance, Waka Waka and other Hokkien/Chinese songs.

After 12, we got back to the room to officially wish Jess. While the rest watched TV, I joined Jess' friend at the balcony where we just sat with the bugs and listened to the waves and music while ~~stalking~~ looking at people playing by the beach (at 2-3 in the morning).
My parents who didn't approve of sleepovers came to pick me up, so I got home at 3.30AM. O.O"

Oh yeah, and this:
I watched Inception on Friday night with my mom. Movie is pretty complex, I was kinda lost during the starting of the movie but the idea is great. I'd rate it 4/5.

U-20 was on Saturday whereas YE Sales was on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, I went for training in the morning, took my report card, went home and rest, went for Youth U-20, went for lunch, went home and took a shower before heading off for YE sales. I made it just in time before the chief minister reached our booth. Winnie as MD and Bernice as Sales Director did the talking. :D

I was working full shift on Sunday. Did jobs like promoting and cash receiving. (you get to play with the cash register!) xD
One of the things I must admit that YE has taught me is to talk fast.

Also, giving out fliers is never an easy job. I've done this during the CPR Demo in Queensbay 2 years back. You've really got to suck it up and be as thick face as you can because you're going to deal with rejection right smack in your face.

Sales was pretty okay, things got heated up during the last hour when everyone was trying their best to sell of as many products as possible. It was quite funny actually. We kept harassing our schoolmates or people we know to buybuybuy. xD

There was one incident where a lady I recognized from Fame Up! The Musical came to have a look at our booth. She was looking at our cupcakes when I popped the question.

Me: Excuse me miss, are you from SGGS?
Lady: Yes.
Me: Oh, I recognize you from Fame Up.
Lady: Why? O.o
Me: Oh, no particular reason. It's just that I thought you looked familiar. :D
Lady: *talking to her student/daughter* Oh, she recognized me from Fame Up, so I must buy something.
Me: LOL.

After she made her purchase, Winnie happened to recognize her too and asked if she was from Fame Up. I think the lady must have got a shock. She looked at us pretty suspiciously though. xD

And another one when Rebekah dropped by our stall. Everyone kept complimenting about how pretty she was that day (or prettier than usual). She bought something in the end too rofl. xD

Many other eventful things, but I'd rather not bore you people to death. :)

Our last U-16 tournament just ended yesterday and it was by far, the toughest tournament we've ever played in for a medal. :S
Lost to Union and PCGHS who won 1st and 2nd placing respectively.

Very, very close game. Played rubber match with them. Thank goodness for sir to boost our mental strength and constantly reminding us to never give up. :D

Mad exhausted by the time we played against them. Yet another rubber match. :S
We won, thank goodness. Because they were dominating the game in the 2nd and 3rd set.

All in all, our last U-16 tournament was the toughest one yet, but it definitely improved our skills and mental strength. Especially the game with Jit Sin (P). As sir said, anything is possible and miracles can happen.

Now, every time I listen to Waka Waka on the radio, I think of Nicole and Shi Jia who sang that song the whole day. :S

Our team was supposed to have volleyball training in the afternoon today, but it rained heavily. So with two of Shi Jia's umbrella, and one of mine, we decided to walk to McD... under the rain. ~~Pfft those people who had one umbrella each~~. xD Nicole and I shared my umbrella mainly because it was bigger. The journey there itself was hilarious. We're just crazy that way. :D

What: As you've probably heard, yes I was hospitalized.
When: Since Monday. And I was just discharged just today, which is a freaking Sunday. ONE WHOLE WEEK OF MY HOLIDAY. D:
Why: Big thanks to my big mouth and big butt, I had food poisoning. Which led to me having diarrhea and vomiting. Not pleasant.
Where: Loh Guan Lye Specialists Centre.

-I had my hand poked thrice for the drip.
-My blood was drawn thrice for lab tests in case of dengue. But I was so half dead by then that I couldn't care less when they did.
-I had an ultrasound scan.
-I was visited by my crazy friends Ivy, Shu Ni, Sarah and Kuen May. :DDD We encountered a ~~bitchy~~ nurse who spoke with a rude tone. LMFAO. We wanted to visit Pn. Liew but guess what. She left on Monday evening with her baby. D: Then later they walked to Gurney and had fun without me. :(((
-I read Dear John in one day (yes I was that bored) and didn't like the ending. LOL
-I had to down so many pills that the next time I fall sick, I wouldn't have that much trouble swallowing the tablets.
-All of my 'room mates' have switched at least once. I've had 8 room mates altogether.
-I managed to dominate the room's remote control for two days.
-I could tell you what was wrong with each of my room mates. Back aches, respiratory problem, sky high blood pressure (200), throat operation, etc.
-I think the doctor's mask makes him look like a duck.

Pretty pissed that I had to spend 1 week of my holiday there and I didn't get to go to Genting/KL. My mom who took 3 days worth of holiday to take me out ended up looking after me in the hospital. She said "Wanted to take you out to watch movie but ended up watching movie here." LOL.
But looking on the bright side, at least they served me breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper on time. And in bed too!

Kidding. Being sick sucks. :S

3. Reading the newspaper.
-I don't know about you, but I flip open the newspaper with intentions only to get to the comics section and then I get attracted to the interesting headlines and yeaaaaaaah.

Defeated, dejected and downright disappointed.
Volleyball MSSPP U-18 (Day 2)

No more games, no finals, not a single medal. We're going back to school tomorrow. Ugh. And the best bart is, we're going back empty handed. We've never went back empty handed, we've always gotten at least a bronze. The worst was 4th placing. But that was only once, I think. D:

But most importantly, we went back with the determination, hunger and thirst to improve, so as to kick ass in our upcoming tournament. The loss was a wake up call for us.

Today, we had to draw lots. We were hoping so badly that we wouldn't get Union High School, but guess who? We got PCGHS. It was a game which we could have won. But we lost, not because they were better than us, but because we weren't playing our best. We were not in control of our game. And the worst part about it was that it was a freaking knock-out round. Okay, in layman's term it means once you lose that match, you wouldn't be playing anymore. Not even for third/fourth placing. Which was really, really unfair! Because we could have at least stood the chance to get 3rd placing. D: I hate this new system they're using now.
We used to play 2 sets, 25 points for each set, like we did with PCGHS today. But even if we lost, we would play for third/fourth placing! But noooo, we didn't. And yesterday's matches consisted of only one set, 30 points. GAHHHH.

First set was 11:25, which was ~~really~~ quite bad. I got really frustrated and agitated in this set. We were already losing points, but we kept wasting even more of them. I'm sorry for shouting at you guys. ): First balls weren't that good, my setting was too far from the net and was messed up, it went all over the place. Not even strategic for attacking. And there was our mental strength. The utmost important thing, and yet we're still lacking it. Apparently, we're not communicating enough, but I honestly thought we were. Oh well.

Second set was pretty close, 21:25. Setting only got slightly better at the end, and our play was better. Nicole's and Dawn's digging were good today. I managed to score a few points with my service, the opponents couldn't manage to dig it over. All in all, pretty glad with my service throughout the whole tournament. For once, all of them went over. *sigh of relief* :)
But one thing's for sure, I need to get my finger set perfected. Gahhhh. One thing which I've been trying to learn for a long time. =/
Btw, I really liked the ball we managed to save. The one Nicole went down, really low to take, and the ball was actually too low to save but I just stuck one hand out to hit it, and either Dawn/Sue Ann dug it over. Hehehe, nice save you guys. :P

After the game, we sat down in a group to discuss about the match, where Nicole, Shi Jia and I just listened and cried. ):
And then we told sir: Thank you, sir. We're sorry we disappointed you.
In which sir replied: No worries, I'm proud of you guys. Always have been.
And we were all teary eyed again. LOL, it made us feel even worse and all the more hopeless because after having played horribly, sir was still proud of us. Aww... thanks sir.

To everyone who has supported us, gave us words of encouragement or just a simple "Good luck!", especially our wonderful seniors, thank you very very much. We're sorry we lost, but here's hoping that the next tournament would bring us victory, and that this loss would push us towards achieving it. :)

To our dear captain and my fellow team mates, I'm sorry I didn't set well enough today, but let's take this is an experience, especially to the juniors and the 2nd six. Much appreciation to the 2nd six for all the support and cheering too. :)

CGL OI! (Yes, our cheer ain't fancy and it might come off as weird to you guys but who cares? It's been our cheer since victorious moments from our seniors, passed on to the next batch, so on and so forth.)

Volleyball MSSPP (U-18) was spiked off today! And what better place to have a tournament after years of having it in Hamid Khan and Kompleks Belia dan Sukan than Dalat International School?! Whoots! We were very excited, of course. We've always been hoping for our tournament to be held there one day. :D

Went in three cars: Pn. Amy's, Mr. Ch'ng's and Shi Jia's. Arrived at Dalat, feeling like people from the urban area or something.

Nicole: OHMYGOD, THEY HAVE A POOL!
Me: OHHH WTFWTF. They have a SEAVIEW!
Nicole: Gosh, I feel like a 'suo pah kao' now. xD

We were unsure if we could just go in like that, so we asked the librarian if we were allowed in there and she said "Sure, sure. Come on in!" Aww, so friendly and nice of her. Melikes. :D Btw, their books were arranged very neatly, and there were computers and desks. Air-condition is a definite yes. Almost all their rooms there were air-conditioned. ._.

Then we went to the playground to fool around for a bit. The swings hurt my butt! D:

Here's another rant.

Why can't you guys understand the fact that I couldn't be there for you guys during the friendly because I had another tournament? I already told sir on Wednesday that I couldn't be there. And that was before I was informed that there was going to be a friendly with PCGHS on Saturday. While I understood that you guys lost because there was no setter, I want you guys to also mutually understand the fact that I have another team who needs me too, and it wasn't because I didn't want to go for the friendly match. In fact, I would have really loved to go for the friendly match. I personally think it's really unfair that you guys are mad at me.
Come on, it was just this once that I wasn't there for you guys. While I admit that I've missed training a few times, there were other people who missed training more times than I did and most of the times, it was simply because they're just too lazy. I was there for the team all these while, when the team was falling apart and when our main players decided to quit the team. I attended those miserable trainings when there were barely enough people to even play a match. And now you guys are mad at me, not because I skipped the friendly match on Saturday, but because I just simply couldn't be there?

Also, it wasn't a matter of floorball over volleyball. I was already informed of the floorball tournament on Saturday weeks before the friendly match that we had on the same day. I had to come to a decision, right? A tournament in which I was already informed of weeks before, and a friendly match which I was just informed of a few days before. Both teams lacked players. I had to pick what's right, right?

On another hand, I think it's really judgmental of you to think that I don't care of the team anymore and couldn't be bothered just because I think that I already have a secured place in the first six. Just so you know, it wasn't easy for me, to have made it into the top six. I wasn't even in the first six when I started playing volleyball. I just constantly went for training and that was how I got into the first six. It wasn't as easy then as it is now to get into the first six, considering that we're lacking of players.

I'm sorry that I wasn't there as the team's setter, and I'm sorry that you guys lost because there wasn't a setter present but to be mad at me, is a different matter. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to pick up a fight, but this whole issue just shouts INJUSTICE on my part. I, for one, cannot stand injustice. So I just had to speak up. For all the times I went for training and just for this once I wasn't there for you guys, you guys are mad at me because you guys lost in a friendly match? Seriously? Wow.
After all the challenges that our team has been through for the past few years and yet we're still having this whole issue. I guess it just goes to show that we've lots more to learn and cultivate as a team.

I do care for the team, and as much as I love you guys, being mad at me just because I couldn't be there is just really unfair to me, okay? That is all I have to say. If you have anything to say, please, let's just all talk this out so that we can be geared up for our upcoming U-18 tournament. :)

Went for school's Floorball Club meeting today, and then later on to Balik Pulau to cheer for Spearhead. :D
They had a match against Firebrands, and they lost 1:4. They were kind of frustrated and disappointed but honestly, I really thought that all of them played well today. I could clearly see that they played with their hearts and gave it their all. I saw our dear captain running around here and there, as though nothing could stop him. I saw how each and every one of them had this 'semangat membara' in them. Also, I'm proud to say that Spearhead's players have good sportsmanship. :P All in all, the match was just awesome, and I really enjoyed it. It gave me this little nudge and someone at the back of my head was telling me that "I need to play like how they played today in my next match."

Went to Queens today with my dear kakak, Menakaa whom I've not seen for 3 months already (according to her), Sheema and Phaik Chern.
Had lunch in Secret Recipe, where Sheema and Phaik Chern both ordered a cake each, and Sheema called me a kitty when she wanted to feed me the cake. Rawr! But all of us had a good laugh there. :D

LOL, then Sheema wanted to buy cheesy wedges, AND nail polish, AND nail polish remover, AND cheap clothes. :O
We linked arms and walked around, talked, went in and out of shops, talked even more. Sheema bought her stuff, and went home as a happy camper. :D All of them went back at 5, leaving me alone. ):

Went to the arcade by myself, played Daytona with guys whom I do not even know of. Got 3rd/7 in the Intermediate, and 1st/6 in Beginner. BWAHAHAHA. :D *is proud of self*

Of spring cleaning the school

I'm back! I've been wanting to update my blog, but haven't gotten the chance to do so because:
1. I didn't had much time to do so. So many things to do. D:
2. I was waiting for more exciting things to happen so that it wouldn't be just another boring update. Quality over quantity. :P
3. I was quite lazy, or 'nua' as Kellie would have put it. xD

Speaking of which, sexy Kellie is a new addition to our group and boy, does she make us laugh or what. Apparently, Jolene, Ming and I form a group called the 'n-u-a' group, because we do not complete our homework at times. Especially Add Maths rofl. Occasionally, Kellie and Sze would join us because they didn't complete their homework as well. And another new addition today is Ber Ber! =D
She expressed her idea of creating a love triangle, and ended up being a love polygon. :O
So we decided that we're all sexy Kellie's wives, Bernice being the 'old wife' and me being the youngest mistress. There's 5 of us, so Kellie can have the weekends to rest. O_O"
Also, the head of our 'nua' group is someone I shall not share here.
Hint: Not a student, and her name starts with the initial M. :P

Had gotong-royong today, went to 'spring clean' the school and we were assigned to the SPBT room AKA Ms. Koay's territory, which has not been cleaned for the past 1 year. @@"
Extremely dusty, but everyone had one thing or another to clean, so it was all good.
Also, the art of posing was learnt today in the SPBT room! We had to take pictures for our Moral and Sivik folio, so everyone's talent in posing came out to play. >:3

And so, school reopens tomorrow. All you fellow Fifth Formers must be feeling ecstatic now, no? Knowing that you guys don't have to wake up at 6.15 in the morning tomorrow and eat the same ol' canteen food ever again. =X

Went out yesterday to watch Gurney after helping out Ms. Koay with the SPBT thingamajig. The noobs had their Orientation Day yesterday and got their books.
As usual, we went to the arcade, fish spa and then watched Sherlock Holmes. (No Avatar tickets. AGAIN)
Sherlock Holmes was great btw. Robert Downey Jr. was so rugged and looks like a slacker, but is good looking and he kicked ~~ass~~ asses. Whoot!

Before PMR, I dragged my mom to the phone shop to have a peek at the W995, and she of course, didn't allow me to buy it.

Mom: NO! Siao ah, so expensive.
Me: But whyyyyyyy. D:
Mom: No means no lah, you don't even deserve the phone. You'll have to earn it.
Me: GAH.
Mom: See your results first.

Now that I've gotten good results, my mom broke her promise. Well, she told my dad to get it for me, and my dad disapproved because he said that it's expensive, yada yada. Basically, breaking their promise. DO PARENTS NOT KNOW OF NANDOS' ESCUDO SEAL?! D:
Feeling very discontented, I am not in the mood of 'communicating' with my family members. And my parents now go on about me being rude, all that kind of bullshit. Look who broke their promise in the first place.
And mom, I didn't do well for PMR just because I want a reward. I know how to think, okay. It is for my future. Did you really think that I pushed myself just because of the phone? I pushed myself because I myself want to get my ass back into the first class. I also didn't want to just mumble that I got less than 7As for PMR when a bunch of extremely ~~nosy~~ concerned relatives question me about my schooling life, apart from me not wanting THREE years of my secondary school life go to waste. I mean, PMR was all that we were preparing for, no?

We all know that parents go around saying that they don't have any favourites, and that they love all their children equally. Last time, I used to believe in that. Because I was ~~noob~~ naive. But honestly sometimes, particularly recently I've just start to realise that it all might just be bullshit. Lies. One day, I swear the moon will cut your tongues. =/
Dad loves my eldest sister most, whereas my mom loves my second sister. Where's the space left for your third child? Who's there to love me? I'd understand if you love Janice more, because she sucks ass. Kidding. Because she knows how to find a way to the soft spot in your hearts and she is a good daughter sister. But Junnie? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that she isn't a good daughter or sister, but all of you love to say that I'm just like her. Which doesn't make her any better, right? Which means that she's rude too, and isn't a filial daughter. An useless, stupid daughter. Just like I am. Or what you all think of me. She doesn't do the house chores, and you don't ask her to. And every time I complain to you about that, you keep sparing her. You give me excuses.
If you guys would just stop being so unfair, love me equally as much without discrimination, and give me whatI deserve , then I would probably be a very happy teenager. =X
It's not that I like being rebellious or whatsoever, but sometimes, you all love to pick on me. You tell me that you nag me because it's for the best of me. It's true, I believe that every parent nags so that their child would be a better person. But you people take it overboard, that it makes me mad. Oh whatever. Am in no mood to rant anymore. I'm just going to say one thing before I go off. Fuck ~~you all~~ it.

Reminiscing 2009 and ushering 2010

The nine things I did in 2009;

ONE -Went up to the morning session, and made new friends with my seniors. -Experienced how it was like, being in the 2nd class for the first time ever. Got to know my acquaintances better, and learned new things. Had a great time with my carefree classmates and the wonderful teachers. -Had wild and crazy times with both of my bitches. :P -Got elected as a probationary prefect, and had an amazing experience to be learning under my dear crazy kakak, Menakaa who shares the same birthday as me. We got along really well, and are quite well known for that. xD

TWO - Took part in a beach volleyball tournament for the first time and managed to get 4th placing. Lol. Had difficulties running on the sand at first, but adapted to it and had a really great time, experience and a sunburn. =/

THREE - Gotten b-b-b-braces from Prestige Orthodontic Clinic. =D

FOUR - Got introduced to a new sport and new people: Floorball and of course, not forgetting their warm and welcoming players. =)

FIVE - Sat for PMR, and achieved straight As. :)

SIX - Took part in Starwalk for the first time ever. Completed a 10KM walk. *is pleased with self* :P

SEVEN - Achieved 7th placing in my school's Cross Country, with the help of fellow athletes helping one another with occasional exchange of pat on the backs or "You can do it, come on." when either one of us is slowing down, a determined mind, and average stamina.

EIGHT - Went on a banana boat for the first time ever. Got closer to certain friends. =)

NINE - Went through 2009, had an enjoyable one and jumped over the barrels that were thrown at me. This marks the end of 2009, and I'm looking forward for more GREAT things to come in 2010, with a positive outlook.

PMR Results - 24th December 09

Thanks to Mr. Toon Xiau Wei, who announced this on Plurk and scared the bejaysus out of fellow PMR candidates cum Plurkers in courtesy of The Star and the advancement of communication and technology. (Interesting responds he got in his Plurk there) :P

So, after all the fake forwarded messages about PMR results coming out on the 20th of December - Which is untrue, because:
1. I went to the site and it doesn't even exist. I also went to the MOE's official site and there wasn't any news whatsoever there.
2. It's a Sunday.

It has been announced by Education director-general Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom that the results of the 2009 Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) examination will be announced on Dec 24.

That's on Christmas Eve. Now I see why there wasn't any Christmas spirit this year.

475,182 students are having Christmas at stake. (excluding the ones who're confirmed to get straight As already) Lmao. Sorry, just had to make it more dramatic. :P

Went for Starwalk on Sunday, w/ lots of other people like Jolene, Bernice, Sze Lyn, Wendy, Kuen May, Jing Wen & May Lyn. Our F4 seniors were there too. Saw Jessica Quah as well. :)
Didn't win anything, of course but I managed to complete my walk in 1 hour 45 minutes and got my cert. :D
The winners completed theirs in 1 hour's time. At that point, I think I was only reaching The Star. LOL.The crowd in PISA Arena

Anyway, I was in the papers! Well actually, more like my back was. Dawn and Nicole were in it too. My sister took this paper from somewhere, and I have no idea why this paper and the one in our (Dawn, Nicole and I) newspaper is different. I mean, they're both The Star, and there has been an almost similar article like this one in ours but it's different. We're not in our edition, but we're in this edition. Get it? O_o

Rant about a ~~friend~~ :

It's just too bad that I'm an honest person who isn't afraid to speak up of what is on my mind. And if I have hurt you with my thoughts, then I sincerely apologise. Because honestly, I'm not your typical girl, who will tell you whatever you want to hear. I tell you what you need to hear. I guess we're just not compatible with each other then. That's really too bad.

I know that other girls really fancy you, and they will suck up to you. I wouldn't deny that I once fancied you, because you seemed like a really nice guy. But I don't suck up. If you think that I'm a bad person to befriend, then so be it. I know there's plentiful of girls out there who are 10 times worth of me. But I don't care, really. Because with your attitude, I've seen the type of person you are. You just don't grow up, do you? It would be a lie to say that I am mature, of course. I even doubt whether or not I'm more mature than you. But I choose to believe I am. :P

ANYWAY, if sorry wasn't enough, then you should NOT say that it's fine, and whenever I want to discuss and settle things among us, you should NOT say things like "I don't know" or "I don't want to talk about it." because backing away when I am making an effort here will not help make the situation better. Like a friend said, "Working together mutually is important."

Things just don't work when only one person is making an effort, because you need two hands to clap. Or you need two to tango. Or God gave you two eyes, nosetrils, kidneys, lungs, whatever.

Also, if you'd want someone to change, you would tell them, as a friend what is wrong and help, guide and nurture them in the process to change, (whether or not they want to) to become a better person. You wouldn't even tell me what is wrong and yet you expect me to change. Really, now. You're wishing for the moon with that kind of attitude.

"You always tell you're sorry and let's make up but everytime you do the same thing. You don't change and you probably never will."

Why is that? Maybe because you don't even tell me what's wrong, and discuss about it with me.

I did think of what's wrong. It may be because you're just not grown up and open enough to accept honest sayings. There's not going to be people telling you what you like to hear in your whole life. People will tell you things you don't want to hear. Sometimes, it helps to make you a better person and if you can't accept it, then DON'T SOCIALIZE. Stay at home and lock yourself up. Life isn't going to give you whatever you want, so just get real. Mommy's not going to be there for you when you fall down next time. Get up, scrape your own damned knees and apply iodine on it by yourself.

I wouldn't say that I am not in the wrong, of course. I don't entirely point all my 10 fingers and toes at you either.

-I was too honest with you and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, even after you told me whatever you told me.

-You didn't want to give me a chance to clear things up.

But you're not even a friend now. I'm sorry, I've tried. You wouldn't want to give me us a chance to be friends. D:

Penang Beach Carnival 09'

Yesterday, I went for a beach volleyball tournament @ Golden Sands Beach in conjunction with the Penang Beach Carnival 09'. Sue Ann's dad fetched Dawn and I there. And I had to wake up at 5.30AM. :O On the way there, it was still dark, and there were very few cars on the road. Which was really fun. xD Reached the beach at about 6.45AM. Not many people were there yet except for the runners and the organizers. Warmed up and everything, and at first, it was really really difficult to play on the sand. But as soon as you get used to it, it's really not as bad as it seems. It was really fun, diving for the ball on the sand. :D I would go for beach vball again, if I had the chance. No kidding. :)

There were tonnes of activities going on there and there were many people present. It was really happening. Among the activities were beach futsal, skimboarding, tug-of-war, paintball, sandcastle building competition, cooking competition, jigsaw competition, dragon-boating, kayak competition, and loads more.

Anyway, I paired up with Sue Ann for the beach vball and we got 4th placing. Played against Dawn & Nicole in the 1st match (ours was the first match) and we won 23-21. Then during the semi-finals, we played against a team which consisted of really senior players. We lost, 15-21. Then during the finals, to determine the 3rd and 4th placing, we played against the state players and lost by 2 points. Meh. :(
Was really looking forward to win the bronze medal and the RM100. Dx
And no, I did not stick my head in the sand but I think I had sand in my pants. :/

After that, we all went to walk near the shore, and decided to go banana-boating! :D
Was originally RM20, but Dawn and I negotiated with that Indian guy for RM15. LOL. Wasn't as fun as I expected, because I wanted someone to fall off. xD
While we were on the banana boat, I went "Faster! Faster!" and it sounded so wrong. LMAO. Then I occasionally stuck out my foot into the water so that the water would splash to the back. Shi Jia & Dawn kept screaming and Dawn kept whacking me. Thank God for the life jacket. Lol.

Stayed around until 6, went to my aunt's room (she was staying there for the weekend coincidentally, so I showered and took a nap) My parents came to the hotel, and we went for dinner together. After dinner, we went to the beach (there was the closing ceremony and YB Lim Guan Eng was there with his wife) and managed to watch the boat decoration competition. Rasa Sayang Golden Sands (they're under Shangri-La) won 1st placing, followed by G-Hotel and Ivory. Then, there was a batik showcase. The batiks were really nice! The models were quite pretty, (except for some) and fuh, such long legs they have! Would love to have such legs next time, lol. Went back at around 11.30PM with a sunburn and memories.

17th Edition of CGL's School Mag

Finally, the long waited school mag is out! :D
Was helping Amirah to carry the mags because I wanted to get mine and Winnie's ASAP so we could go back to the SPBT room to continue with our work/the ghost stories. ROFL, yes, we were or more like Bernice was telling us ghost stories in the SPBT room. The atmosphere was there, alright. :D

Tomorrow's the last day for the F5 seniors. I'll definitely miss them loads. :(
Especially my crazy kakak angkat Menakaa who has been there for me when I was extremely worried about PMR, and not getting elected as a prefect. And everytime, I'd tell her to pray to her 'Indian God' for me. xD Thank you, for making my year as a probationary prefect an enjoyable one, filled with craziness, joy and laughter. I'll never forget the moments we had while doing our duties be it by just laughing out loud or gossiping. :P

And to a very special friend who has been there for me through it all, thick and thin. I'll never ever forget you and the things you've done for me. :) Won't be elaborating much, because I figured you'd already know the things I'd want to say. :X

LOL, something silly happened in the SPBT room this morning. There were only 3 people there. Ms. Koay, Jolene and I. Seeing that I was the lightest, Ms. Koay wanted me to cellophane tape the curtains because the sun was shining through and it made it difficult for her to look at the computer screen. So as I climbed on to the rack to cellophane tape the curtains, guess what?

CRACK!
The top layer of the lousy rack collapsed and there's a hole in it now. ROFL. =/

This year's school magazine is peachy coloured, with bright and glossy graphics on it. Probably one of those rare magazines which has bright colours as the cover. Doesn't look that bad.

Last year's school magazine, which some preferred over this year's as this year's magazine had 'too much layout all over and it gave them a headache looking at it'. LOL.

If observant enough, you'd spot a cloth material on my bag's zip which says "Paws Off", lmao. It glows in the dark, so I took this picture for the sake of looking at the effect it gives. xD I always had a thing for glow in the dark stuff. And hey, don't start thinking about other things. =/

So before I 'publish post', I'd like to congratulate the Ed Board members for successfully producing this year's magazine. Kudos to all of you for your hard work! :)

Haven't been updating well lately, have I? Maybe I'm having a blogger's block. xP
So basically, this is just another one of those posts where I update just for the sake of keeping the blog alive. Meh.
Went to some relative's dinner yesterday at Evergreen, and TBH, food not up to expectations. Not that tasty as expected. :/What I wore :) (Ignore the dirty mirror and my retarded smile. Nobody wiped it for ages and I was in a rush. Being the typical Malaysians we were, the dinner started at 8.15 instead of 7.30) And this is why people love us Malaysians. :D

Went for floorball with Winnie on Saturday, just for the fun of it. And there were ang mohs from mainly USA. LOL. They were suppose to have a friendly match with the experienced players here. And apparently, a few people play/played volleyball. :D
Might be taking up floorball, btw. Seems rather interesting. :)
Helped Ms. Koay today in the SPBT room, and I think the aunty didn't just put butter in my roti bomb. =/ Connie and I were hyper! We were laughing at the stupidest things that Ms. Koay said, lol.

Ms. Koay: Help the Moral.
Me: Wha...? What? How to help the Moral. O_o *starts laughing*
Connie: *joins in while numbering the bottom of the book*

And then behind the corner of a paper, there was a grasshopper which gave us goosebumps and nobody dared to go near it, not even Ms. Koay. LOL. So in the end, Joanne and Michelle saved our lives by catching it and throwing it out the window. Bless them, lol.
Have another appointment with Dr. Chay tomorrow. Then, off I go to find another dentist who can extract 4 teeth for me, and then starts the very painful process of 2 miserable years of wearing braces (plus or minus 6 months) Arghhhh. Why can't the Neoh family consist of good looking people? :/

Finally cleared my books, anyway. Here's 3 years worth of books for you :)

Super long worm in the school canteen which Rachel & Sze Lyn discovered. Winnie, Shi Jia, Dawn and I who got fascinated started playing with it and we actually recorded it. Videos are on Facebook. LMAO. Poor worm probably got a heart attack from too much shock for a day. =(

LOL, I know, it's been weeks since my b'day, but am currently rather lazy to post up the pictures and TBH, to even update. But of course, I wouldn't want my blog to die a tragic death, so I figured I'd post once in awhile. :O
Anyway, THANK YOU ALL who've wished me and gave me pressies. And of course, to SJ, Jolene, Ming and Sze Lyn for accompanying me. Very very sorry to Vern though, because she couldn't join us even though she was in Gurney. And for those of you who couldn't make it, I've already 'putuskan hubungan persahabatan' with all of you. LOL. Nah, I'm equally as sorry you guys couldn't make it as well. :( But anyway, all your wishes really made my day. :) I love all of you! *sends over lots and lots of love*

Went for my first appointment with Dr. Chay, to get braces. :O
She checked my teeth, and said that my case was a 'severe' one and that my teeth is jutting out by 10mm instead of the usual of 2-3mm. :'( LOLOL.
She said that I'll have to extract 4 teeth but she won't be doing it. O_o
She'll give me a ref letter, and I'll have to get it done by someone else. After that, only will she start the braces fixing process. Pain die me. Dx
Then she took my mould, which tastes weird and X-ray. After putting on the heavy jacket thingy, I swore I must've became shorter by 1cm or so. xD

Rant:
1. I ~~hate~~ dislike the both of you. One bloody bastard and another biatch. Ugh.
2. School is stupid and a waste of time.
3. Some people can be so immature at times. And they only want things to go their way. I cannot stand people like this.
4. People who reply me with "So?" or "Cannot meh?"
Makes me pissed.
or people who reply with "Whatever" when I've proven their facts wrong.
If you reply me with "Whatever" after I've proven you wrong, then why the hell do you still want to argue about your facts with me in the first place? Bloody hell. Go get your facts right before you start arguing and reply me with "Whatever" even after you're in the wrong.

As promised, my update after PMR. Was actually too lazy to update, but I am the type of person who keeps my words. Fuyohh. xP
Anyway, PMR was fine, except for BM paper which I'm worried about. But it's over, so meh... Not going to talk about it and ruin everyone's mood. :)
After Math paper II on Monday, Sue, Lyn, Winnie and I were walking home.

*while all of us were crossing the road after our conversation about hair (because Lyn & Sue were planning to wash their hair)*
Me: Hey... Why did the students cross the road?
Sue: What the...?! To get to the other side?!
Lyn: *stops talking to Winnie and starts laughing* Nat, lame la you!
Me: *still laughing hysterically* It was so random!
Sue: *snorts*
Me: Why did the students cross the road?! Hahahaha!

Me: Yeah, so they can wash their hair. *continued laughing*

Went to Gurney to celebrate freedom and Wendy's birthday after the KH paper. And I've finally experience how it was like to watch a 3D movie! We watched G-Force. The 3D was fine, I guess. Not that it was that fascinating. It made my eyes really tired and the visuals were kind of blurrish. But that's 3D for you! :\
Love the mice in G-Force, btw. x)
However, I'd want to watch 'Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs'. The trailer was funny, and it looks rather interesting. :D
Before the movie, there was a short 3D animated film by Pixar titled 'Partly Cloudy'.

-Then in school yesterday, I tried translating 'Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs' to Hokkien, but failed. Because neither of us knew what cloudy was in Hokkien. So in the end, we ended up with a Chinese version and an alternative Hokkien version, "Thi beh lok bak uan" which directly translates to 'Sky is going to drop meatballs'
Went to SJ's house after school with Winnie, but Winnie only went there to shower. Then she had to leave for camp meeting. So Ming came over afterwards and we played with her Wii whereas SJ was busy clearing her books. My goodness. A few high stacks altogether.

-We're having free time in school now, but free time isn't free time when the teachers take over by making us join stupid programmes that they've organised and what makes me mad is that we can't even do anything about it. We want to do our own stuff, like sit and gossip, play Twister and dislocate a bone, play Speed with Uno cards at our own pace, yada yada...
Ironically... School is a waste of time.

Went to Mahindarama Buddhist Temple last Sunday for PMR Blessing. By the time I went, they already started. :'( A lot of people from our school went as well!

While filling in the Aspiration paper:
Jolene: E-mail address... what's my e-mail address ar...?
Sze Lyn: Your own e-mail address also don't know!
Me: Buddha want your e-mail address for what?!

But anyway, I saw lots of camp friends! They're having another Buddhist camp at the end of the year and I might be going. Whoo! :D I still remember waking up at 6-7AM in the morning and reciting the Morning Puja in the hall, half awake. I almost kept nodding off. Hey, I tried to stay awake! It's not that I'm not a good devotee. :X

5 more days to PMR! Most feared subjects include: Math, BM, Geo, Sej, KH. Practically all except English and Science. :O Going back for a refreshing shower after Sci Paper I to prepare myself for Sci Paper II on Thu and after Maths on Monday before facing Sejarah.
